Innovation . . .
Here is an article of The World's Most Innovative Companies in 2018. In class, split up the list (randomly might be best) so that everyone has their share of the 50 companies.
Read the articles on each of the companies and prepare a report that covers the following (based on the articles):
- What makes a company innovative?
- What do the companies have in common?
- How is innovation reflected in the actual product?
- How is innovation reflected beyond the product?
- What advantages do innovative companies enjoy over those that are not particularly innovative?
- If you were tasked with making your company "more innovative" what steps would you take?
Include the name of the companies in your paper and feel free to reach beyond the article to back up your statements.
As far as homework . . . find a TED Talk on the topic of innovation and/or product development and convince me (on the same page as the report) that we should watch it in class.

Select a product and trace the customer journey from before the purchase, through the purchase to after the purchase. Enumerate the MOT and the touchpoints.
Next, write a letter to the Director of Marketing for the company and suggest additional touchpoints that will help in customer acquisition or customer retention. Be sure to give the reasoning in the letter.
